Amazing Work of the Heather on Earth Music Foundation
The Heather on Earth Music Foundation has the goal of bringing the healing power of music to sick children. They do this in many extraordinary ways, and they rely on the generous donations of many, including Corey Ribotsky of the NIR Group.
They currently have music therapy at the Pal-o Mine on Long Island, a program where physically and emotionally handicapped children can interact with and ride horses. They have LIVE music therapists at Schneider Children’s Hospital, New Hyde Park, New York , at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, New York, at Schneider Children’s Medical Center, Tel Aviv, Israel and at Winthrop University Hospital, Mineola New York.
They are also providing the Magic of Music to children in need at The Tender Care Human Services in Brooklyn and Queens, New York. These centers work with children with Autism, and the Heather on Earth Music Foundation recognizes that Music Matters to autistic children as well.
